Ripe Brand

A collaboration between me and another Graphic design student Jonah Davies designing a brand called Ripe.

The brand is fruit styled accessories and products such as an apple shaped bag or pineapple sunglasses.

At the begining of the project we were given some fruit and was asked how we could design a brand around fruit. This is what we came up with!

Pasty Co designs

A Joint Project with designer Benjamin Callender.
This is just a sample of what we did for a brand identity for a pasty shop in darby. The images here are of a few shop sign ideas, we have also produced menu designs, shop window designs, swing signs as well as a company logo.

Printing

I just love being hands on with my work.
Just seeing the texures when you create the print and it is still wet
to how it changes when it drys.
These prints are my favourite from thw collection I had made. I just love the colours from the brown print and the detail you can see up close. The pink print I like the contrast of the black and white illustration and the hot pink design printed over it.
Both designs were created using a press and the design was carved out of rubber tiles.

Things im looking at...

I have been looking at many different aproches to creating a portrait and ways to express your self through design.
I love each of these examples as they all show a different techniques to each portrait, such as through Photography, Illustration and Graphic design.

Pulling out work..

These are pictures of my vinyl designs I have created a few months ago, I found this project really fun as I love handmaking things and I had got excited over using mixed media proccesses.
This has been the first time I have had to design a vinyl cover before It may be my only chance as they are hardly produced now and would be expected to create a cd cover instead.
I chose print processes as I thought that it was more fitting to the bands theme in music and style as well to choosing the colour schemes as red, black and white.

Creating letters and words

A sample of a piece I made for a Graphics project where I created an alphabet out of found objects, The first picture was created from many different collected items and this piece was created from shells I found on the beach. I found this project quite fun discovering different ways words can be formed.
